Discord Adds Multi-Image Embeds to Mobile

Discord are finally taking strides to catch up the iOS and Android platforms to the level of PC users.

Discord Adds Multi-Image Embeds to Mobile

Discord Mobile users are often left feeling rejected. Discord have a tendency to add features to PC/Mac and other platforms way before they port them over to the iOS and Android clients. The moment is finally ripe for mobile users, however, as Discord looks set to add the functionality to show multiple images in a mobile embed.

This Newest Discord Leak...

Discord, the popular messaging and voice chat app, has recently introduced a new feature that allows mobile users to include multiple images in a single embed. This new feature has been highly anticipated by mobile Discord users, as it allows for more efficient and engaging communication on the go.

Reputable Discord dataminer advaith shared this screenshot on Twitter of what the latest feature is set to look like.

Embeds on Mobile will now display multiple images, whether it be 4 images from a Tweet, or multiple images from a user-created embed.

What's Next?

While Discord may have fixed the image issue, many users are now left pondering over what Discord should fix next on Mobile.

There are many calls for another popular embed feature to be fixed - inline fields.

Inline fields allow users to display several groups of text on the same line in an embed, to condense the embed and increase its visual appeal.

Users on Mobile have been left in the dark for this feature, and for comparison, here's the same embed on PC and Mobile.

See just how much more condensed the information is on PC with Inline Fields? You can fit double the amount of content on the same screen.

Personally, I think Discord are reluctant to add Inline Fields to Mobile as the screen just isn't wide enough, but if they manage to find a way it will sure make a welcome change.

Also, what's up with Role Mentions not showing colour on Mobile anymore? It's werid, right?

Advantages & Use Cases of Muti-Image Embeds

One of the main advantages of the multi-image embed feature for mobile users is that it allows for more detailed and visual communication. With the ability to include multiple images in a single embed, mobile users can now share more information in a single post, without cluttering up the chat. For example, if a mobile user wants to share multiple screenshots or images from a game, a vacation, or an event, they can do so in a single message, rather than having to send multiple messages. This makes the process of sharing images more streamlined and efficient.

Another advantage of the multi-image embed feature for mobile users is that it allows for more creative and dynamic communication. With the ability to include multiple images in a single message, mobile users can now create a collage, a photo album, or a slideshow on the go. This opens up new possibilities for how mobile users can express themselves and share their experiences with others, even when they are away from their computer.

The multi-image embed feature is also particularly useful for mobile content creators, such as streamers and YouTubers, who frequently share images and videos with their communities. With the ability to include multiple images in a single message, they can now share more information in a single post, even when they are on the go.

Overall, the multi-image embed feature is a welcome addition to Discord for mobile users. It allows for more efficient and engaging communication, and opens up new possibilities for how mobile users can express themselves and share their experiences. It will be interesting to see how mobile users continue to utilize this feature and what creative ways they come up with to share multiple images while on the go.

It's worth mentioning that this feature's release date is unknown at the moment, so users are advised to frequently update their Discord app to the latest release in order to enjoy this feature. Additionally, this feature is set to be available on both iOS and Android platforms, making it widely available to mobile users.
